Music players from Apple. Linux support existed for initial models via iPod Linux (uClinux kernel 2.4).

Many Nano models that do not support iPod Linux directly are either Rockbox-supported, or have similar hardware configurations to their counterparts. This means that with some reverse-engineering or Rockbox and similar it should be possible to adapt a build to run on most models
