Architecture
Note: Even though MSM8916 is capable of aarch64, the firmware of some variants were never updated with aarch64 support. Therefore, this device can only boot mainline on armv7 at the moment. |
Accessing the UART
To access the UART, the backplate has to be removed (be careful with the wire between the screen and the mainboard).
The UART can be accessed, by soldering wires to the pads visible in the picture below
