  • FerassElHafidi (Notes: Green 3rd variant. Ran Android 10. Wiped eMMC, boots Mainline U-Boot as BL33)
  • Knuxify (Notes: 2x; one works (blue variant), one has random shutdowns which seem to be caused by it overheating, since it works fine with the top of the casing taken off (green variant). Both running Android 9)
  • Mertoalex (Notes: family uses it, I debloated it with UAD-ng.)

How to enter recovery mode

Hold down the OK+Back keys on the remote while booting to boot into recovery.

How to flash the device

TODO TODO: Properly research this...

On at least some bootloader versions, it's possible to tell the bootloader to boot from an USB device instead. What complicates matters is the fact that the Mi TV Stick only has *one* MicroUSB slot, also used for power. This port can, however, be used for OTG, as long as you can still provide the correct voltage to the device through it.

(I found some YouTube video that goes over the process of installing Armbian, sadly it's all in Russian but it's easy enough to understand if you turn on auto-translated subtitles. It should be possible to do a similar thing with pmOS.)
