How to enter flash mode
Boot up while pressing volume up key, then navigate to the fastboot entry (keep pressing volume up key and see the arrow moving across the menu) and press volume down.
How to unlock bootloader
Go into fastboot mode, and type in your host device fastboot oem unlock
.
Installation
- Normal install with
pmbootstrap
, until the flashing step! - Go into fastboot mode
- Flash only the boot.img using
pmbootstrap flasher flash_kernel
(If this fails try with:fastboot flash:raw boot /tmp/postmarketOS-export/boot.img
). - Flashing system.img is impossible due to many errors. (It could also be the loose USB-Connector of my phone, I can't say this with 100% certainity)
- Afterwards, run
pmbootstrap install --sdcard=/dev/sdX (replace /dev/sdx with your number of the sdcard)
. - Put the SD-Card in your device and boot up.
