How to enter flash mode

MTK Preloader

First, turn off the device. Then while holding down Back, insert the USB cable.

Recovery mode

  • Power off the device
  • Hold down Qin (heart shaped key) + *
  • Press Power until the device turns on.
  • Release Power once the boot logo shows up
  • Release the other buttons once you see "No command"
  • Shortly press Up + Back (this may take a few tries)
Notice Because this device does not have a separate recovery partition, the recovery's initramfs is located on the boot partition. After flashing PostmarketOS, you will no longer be able to enter stock recovery or fastboot mode. You can still enter MTK Preloader.

Use pmbootstrap to build your own installation image.
