Jolla C is a limited edition device primarily sold in European market, Intex Aqua Fish is released in Indian market. Both Jolla C and Intex Aqua Fish share the same base hardware and Sailfish OS, the only difference is modem and preloaded contents. However, flashing Jolla C's modem image to Aqua Fish and vice versa to unlock unsupported LTE bands will not work. Following table shows supported cellular bands for both devices:
Radio | Jolla C | Intex Aqua Fish |
---|---|---|
2G | 850, 900, 1800, 1900 | |
3G | B1, B5, B8 | B1, B8 |
4G | B1, B3, B7, B20 | B3, B5, B40 |
Unfortunately, replacement battery is hard to obtain.
Sailfish OS kernel's devicetree contains PN544 NFC device, but there is no NFC chip inside. Originally released with Sailfish 2.0, the final Sailfish update for this device is 4.6.
