How to unlock the bootloader
To unlock the bootloader on the OnePlus Nord 2, you first need to ensure that the device is running an older system version.
NOTE: If your Nord 2 is currently on OxygenOS 13, a downgrade to OxygenOS 11 (not tested on OxygenOS 12) will be required before proceeding. |
Once the downgrade is completed:
1. Boot the device into Fastboot mode.
2. Connect it to your PC and execute the following command:
fastboot flashing unlock
3. A confirmation screen will appear on the phone. Press
to accept, and the bootloader will be unlocked.WARNING: Unlocking the bootloader will erase all user data and may void your warranty. Back up your data before proceeding. |
