How to enter flash mode

First, turn off the device and then:

  • Download Mode: Hold the Power, Volume Up and Volume Down buttons while the device is connected to a computer with an USB cable.
  • Recovery Mode: Hold the Power and Volume Up buttons while the device is connected to a computer with an USB cable.

uniLoader

This device has trouble booting mainline Linux because Samsung uses device tree fragments, and the combined device tree can disrupt the boot process. To address this, we use a secondary bootloader called uniLoader, which we have specifically adapted for the S22. Standard bootloaders are not supported. Only uniLoader will work here.
