Disable Secure Boot
To disable Secure Boot:
- Enter Surface UEFI (To enter, hold Vol. Up & Power while shut down, or enter Windows Recovery menu > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings.)
- Go to the "Security" tab.
- Disable Secure Boot
- Go to Boot Configuration tab
- Make USB first
- Save and exit
Now, continue with the generic-x86_64 guide to install. I recommend using OS Installer package instead of the regular generic-x86_64 package
