How to Unlock Bootloader
Unlocking the bootloader is simple as it has the ability to enter BROM mode.
This requires MTKClient.
- Power off the phone. Make sure that it isn't plugged in.
- Open MTKClient's GUI (mtk_gui.py)
- Plug the phone into the computer while holding the Vol + and Vol - buttons. It should be detected and enter BROM mode.
- Go to
Flash Tools→Unlock bootloaderto Unlock the bootloader.
While you are here, you can make a full dump of all of your partitions and dump GPT.
How to enter Flash Mode
Due to the weird bootloader, you cannot enter fastboot, only fastbootd or BROM mode.
