Hello, I am Artur Manuel, also known as amadaluzia in the world made of under-the-sea cables. I am running postmarketOS on a physically--and psychologically--damaged Samsung Galaxy S9, as well as GrapheneOS on a Google Pixel 7 Pro. I also use Alpine Linux with GNOME and OpenBSD on my machines. I have previously used and contributed to NixOS, Void Linux and FreeBSD, all being pull requests to the . Additionally, I can write my own software if need be. To sum up, it would be rude to talk of someone who is listening. ;)
Aside from computers, I am also interested in taking pictures of cats I come across, or generally anything I find satisfying or interesting. Aside from them both, I am also interested in being outside, writing, rap battles--Snakebite126, Eddiefrb, and Freshy Kanal come to mind--and watching history channels late into the night. Sadly, Cambridge outside of the university and the Grand Arcade is not that interesting, so I am always looking to visit other places in the UK.
I generally use any language I want when writing software of my own, I actively use the following languages: C/C++, Go, Rust, Python, Shell, and Lua. I either use the language because I find them enjoyable, or because I use them in the tools I daily-drive such as Lua with Neovim, Shell with aports/xbps-packages, as well as formerly Emacs Lisp with Emacs and Nix with... Nix as well as NixOS. I am also willing to try out languages to solve a specific problem: The Collatz Conjecture.
