About Me
I am a tech enthusiast with a passion for tinkering with Linux-based devices. I enjoy giving new life to old smartphones, tablets, and routers by installing linux-based operating system like PostmarketOS. I like to repurpose outdated hardware. I love experimenting with custom firmware and exploring ways to unlock the full potential of older devices.

Wifi Workaround
Apparently wifi only works with fixed ip address for me. Here's a guide for using a fixed ip address:
First, use nmtui to edit a connection to use fixed ip address.
# nmtui
Then check if you have a inet entry on your mlan0
, if not add it by entering the command.
# ip addr add 192.168.1.100/24 dev mlan0
Replace 192.168.1.100
and 24
with your ip details. Then you should have a internet connection, to check if you have internet try.
$ ping google.com -c 4
The result should be 4 packets transmitted, 4 received, and 0% packet loss. If not then there's something wrong.
My user page is under constrution! I’m in the process of adding more details, so check back later for the finished version. |
