Development

Kernel Status The device utilizes the SM7450 chipset. Mainlining efforts leverage the work done for the SM8450 platform. DTS: A custom Device Tree Source (.dts) is required. Currently, basic nodes (CPU, PSCI, GIC) are being mapped. IOMMU/SMMU: This generation of Qualcomm chips requires specific SMMU configurations to prevent boot-loops when initializing high-speed peripherals. Partition Layout The device uses a standard modern Xiaomi A/B partition structure: boot: Contains the kernel and initramfs. super: Contains logical partitions (system, vendor, product). userdata: Target for the root filesystem.
