⚠️ This device is being worked on, and there no postmarketOS build at the moment. ⚠️

The Xiaomi 17 was released 27th of September 2025.
China version have a 7000mAh battery but the bootloader can't be unlocked (though a hack permit it on early software versions. Check XDA Developers forum).
The Global version has a 6330mAh battery and can 'normally' be unlocked.

Boot modes

By holding various button combinations while booting, the device can be made to boot into different modes. Unplug from USB, power off the device and press and hold the below buttons to enter the specific boot mode.
Release the Power button as soon as the screen display something and release the volume button when you enter in the desired mode

There is also a "fastbootd" (notice the d at the end) mode that can be entered by issuing `fastboot reboot fastboot` command in your computer while having the phone in fastboot mode.
The EDL mode caf be reached from fastboot thanks to this command: "fastboot oem edl"
