The standard Xiaomi Mi 11 (M2011K2G, not Lite, not Pro, not Ultra) from 2021. Based on Snapdragon 888, usually sold in its 8/256GB variant, and overall quite close to other SM8350 flagships in terms of internal hardware.

Mainline status

The device is relatively similar to the OnePlus Lemonade family, as both are close to the Qualcomm MTP platform. USB works, regulators are in, but the panel driver is a mess, since it uses a 1440p DSC panel whose actual code is unknown (aside from "dsi-panel-k2b-38-08-0a-dsc-cmd").

Although this MR adds support for some DSC panels in the MDSS panel generator, this specific panel has bpp = 30 so its mode appears not to be supported yet.

This is *hopefully* the same panel as Xiaomi Poco F3 seen here at k11a-38-08-0a-dsc-cmd.dtsi, which uses normal bpp = 18.

Some discussion on this device exists in the #sm8350-mainlining room on Matrix

Cameras

This phone uses an array of Samsung sensors with no mainline support, and an Omnivision wide-angle camera with some degree of support.

  • Omnivision OV13B10 wide angle camera (13 Mpx). This has a driver in mainline
  • Samsung S5KHMX main camera (108 Mpx)
  • Samsung S5K5E9 macro camera (5 Mpx)
  • Samsung S5K3T2 front camera (20 Mpx)
