How to enter flash mode

  1. Power off the device
  2. Hold Power + Volume Down to enter Fastboot mode

Installation

Warning WARNING: This device has not been ported to postmarketOS yet. Tutorial below are unrelated. Contributions are welcome!
  1. Install pmbootstrap
  2. Run pmbootstrap init, select vendor xiaomi and device garnet
  3. Complete the rest of the setup according to your preferences
  4. Build the root filesystem: pmbootstrap install
  5. Reboot the device into fastboot mode
  6. Flash the kernel and rootfs:
    pmbootstrap flasher flash_kernel && pmbootstrap flasher flash_rootfs
  7. (Optional) Erase the DTBO partition: fastboot erase dtbo
  8. Reboot the device: fastboot reboot
