How to enter flash mode
TODO; currently adb reboot bootloader works
Unlocking the bootloader
We were able to seemingly unlock the bootloader without having to request access through the Xiaomi Community app; using MiUnlockTool worked. (For some reason the option to add a phone number to the Xiaomi account was missing on the tablet, it only appeared when logging in through the official Xiaomi unlock app; afterwards, MiUnlockTool could be used as usual.)
