How to enter flash mode
Using mtkclient
: Power off your phone, run your flashing command, then plug in the USB cable while holding Vol- + Power to enter BootROM mode. Flashing through Fastboot might be possible but that requires unlocking the bootloader.
Installation
Use pmbootstrap to build your own installation image.
$ pmbootstrap init
$ pmbootstrap install
$ pmbootstrap flashing flash_rootfs --sdcard
