From postmarketOS Wiki

Android Go is a cut down version of the Android operating system, specifically designed for low-resource devices, often with 1-2 GB of RAM or less. Originally developed by Google, Android Go is optimized to reduce memory, storage, and data usage while maintaining essential Android functionalities.

Notes

Some vendors provide kernel options specifically for Android Go targets. These options typically override existing kernel settings to cater to Android Go's resource-constrained environment. However, these adjustments may not always align with postmarketOS requirements and could lead to issues or conflicts with other configurations.

If you encounter problems, consider disabling these Android Go-specific options. To identify them, search for options containing GO in the default kconfig.
