How to enter flash mode

Enable USB Debugging

  • click on random wifi network
  • open keyboard
  • click on settings button in the left down corner
  • click on "Google Keyboard settings"
  • click on "personal directories"
  • click the back button in the upper left corner twice
  • click seven times on the build number in the settings
  • in the developer settings, enable adb

Rooting

The standard Dirty CoW exploit for Android does not seem to work somehow: https://github.com/timwr/CVE-2016-5195/issues/106

This should be fixed, so we can get into APX boot mode
