The part number is CM4XYYZZZ where X represents on-board wireless connectivity (0: no WLAN/BT chip, 1: Cypress CYW43455), YY represents the capacity of on-board LPDDR4 RAM (01: 1 GB, 02: 2 GB, 04: 4 GB, 08: 8 GB), and ZZZ represents the capacity of on-board eMMC storage (000: no eMMC chip, 008: 8 GB, 016: 16 GB, 032: 32 GB). The versions without eMMC storage (the part numbers ending with 000) is especially called Compute Module 4 Lite.
For instance, CM4001000 is no wireless, 1 GB RAM, no eMMC storage (Lite) version.
